Dr. Youm was selected as an Associate Master Instructor for Hip Arthroscopy at the Arthroscopy Association of North America Masters Hip Arthroscopy Course which took place at the Orthopaedic Learning Center in Rosemont, Illinois in 2013.

Dr. Youm was voted Teacher of the Year for 2012 by the graduating Chief Residents at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.
